The Pickle Pepper Project

A few weeks ago we tried canning  for the first time. We decided to can everything. Tomatoes, peppers, blueberries from last year, peaches. It the end we canned 96 jars of food. Homegrown, locally farmed and organic food. At the same time I cooked two ducks and two pork shoulders for duck confit and pork green chile. It was an epic food day which culminated around 12:30 am with watching Rocky, eating Ding Dongs and drinking malt liquor while waiting for peaches to finish.
